Storm Over the Turtle

‘Storm Over the Turtle’ is a study of color and contrast, highlighting the sun drenched wild rice as a storm approaches up the Turtle River in Ontario. If you’re on the water, you start looking for cover. My best friend and I once spent an afternoon sitting by one another on a log along the river, each attempting to be shorter than the another, during a fierce lightning storm.
