Tufted Titmouse #8

Tufted titmice are a year round presence throughout the Ozarks as well as most of the south, central and eastern US. Their ‘peter-peter-peter’ call is an easy one for novice birdwatchers, and one that even I cannot forget. This adult appears a bit curious while I try to take a photo that does the animal justice. Like many of my bird photos, the photo was taken with a 600mm lens and a 2x magnifier, for a total of 1200mm.
