Snipe Key Sandbar #7

The Snipe Key complex is another beautiful area east of Jewfish Basin, northeast of Key West. The piece captures the vibrant colors of the waters as they transition from flats to channel along with the mangroves against the clouded sky.

Walking and wading that sandbar in low tide should be on everyone’s bucket list.

As an aside, and why not, Snipe Key is among the most picturesque of the keys. I’m repeatedly drawn to it because of the deep channels, large sandbar and constantly changing moods. Compare this print to Snipe Key- Dark Sky, Green Water #21 and you will see what I’m talking about.

It’s one of my favorites.
